Working Together
In therapy, we will take up day-to-day struggles as well as early formative experiences, exploring subterranean spaces that have felt remote, unclear, unimportant, or too powerful to name. I will follow your lead, and we will make sense of things together. This is a place in which to gather up many threads, gently untangle them, and weave something new.
I strive to foster an environment of reflection, authenticity, and spontaneity — a place where something unknown to both of us can begin to unfold. Through this work, problems soften and become more malleable, with opportunities for change and growth.
About Me
I am a clinical psychologist in private practice in Oakland, CA. I provide psychoanalytic psychotherapy and consultation services in-person and remotely.
I received my doctorate in clinical psychology from the Wright Institute. Prior to my graduate studies, I worked in public health research and grassroots harm reduction outreach settings for many years.
I supervise at the Wright Institute Clinic and Access Institute, and also teach for Access Institute’s internship training program. I have served on the Education and Community Mental Health committees at the Northern California Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology (NCSPP), and served as Chair of the Education Committee from 2020-2022.
